Take advantage of the grace period! For the total amount of all in-store and online purchases paid with a credit card during the current month and repaid in full by the end of the following month, you will NOT pay any interest!

The grace period applies if you have no outstanding interest or fees and does not apply to cash withdrawals.

If you’re unable to pay off the entire amount to take advantage of the grace period, make a monthly payment of at least 5% of the total credit used. This way, you’ll avoid penalties and continue to enjoy your credit card.

Representative example: If the entire credit limit is used at an OTP Bank ATM for a credit line of 50,000 lei over a 24-month term, with a fixed annual interest rate of 18.90% and an ATM withdrawal fee of 3% of the amount, the annual percentage rate (APR) will be 24.74%.
